Emma Ledden will us a training
about Presentation Skills on 13th March from 7.30pm at London College
Dublin, 26 Merrion Square, Dublin 2.
The main objective of this training is to prepare JCI Dublin members for the National Public Speaking Competition 2008 on the 6th April.

After spending 10 years as a presenter on television and radio both
here and abroad, Emma worked as a Senior Consultant with Carr
Communications. Over 3 years Emma honed her craft as a trainer in front
of groups and individuals on a daily basis. She has provided training
to organisations as diverse as Bus Eireann, Waterways Ireland, Ahead,
AIB, OPW, KPMG and Microsoft.
Emma provided Media Skills training to the Children’s Rights Alliance,
An Bord Altranais, The Salvation Army, the HSE Mid Western Region and a
large number of individual clients.
She has also provided comprehensive training to individuals in Job
Interview Preparation and Television Presenting skills.
Emma has extensive experience and knowledge in overcoming the issues that arise with public communication:
- Lack of confidence
- Not being able to get your message across
- Dealing with difficult interviewers and questions
- Getting stuck on a topic you don’t want to talk about
- How to sit, what to do with your hands and of course, what to wear
Emma’s educational qualifications include:
A Certificate in Journalism
A Degree in Psychology (currently studying)
