JCI and AIESEC, the world's largest student organization, began ongoing communications upon signing the original cooperation agreement in the early 1980's. In 2003, the agreement was renewed and put into motion. More than 40 JCI national organizations have established cooperation agreements and are attending AIESEC events.

 JCI and the Council of Europe cooperated in a training program for leaders of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Georgia and Montenegro. The Council of Europe is an intergovernmental organization founded in 1949 to protect and promote human rights, pluralist democracy and the rule of law. JCI hopes to continue cooperating with the Council of Europe to enhance the protection of minorities, and increase tolerance and understanding among people.
 
International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and World Chambers Federation

 On March 4, 2004, 20 years after the signing of a partnership agreement with the ICC-WCF, JCI renewed this agreement. ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) is the voice of world business championing the global economy as a force for economic growth, job creation and prosperity. And the World Chambers Federation (WCF) is the ICC's specialized division for its Chamber of Commerce members worldwide. JCI and ICC-WCF are actively cooperating with in various areas and their cooperation is proving to be mutually beneficial.

Conference of Non-Governmental Organizations

 The basic mission of CONGO, founded in 1948, is to ensure that NGOs in consultative status enjoy the fullest opportunities and all appropriate facilities for performing their consultative functions with the UN.

CONGO's chief objectives are to ensure that NGOs be present when governments discuss issues of global concern at the UN and to facilitate NGO discussions on such issues.

CONGO does not take positions on substantive matters. However, CONGO does provide, through special and ad hoc NGO Committees, fora for discussion of substantive matters by its members with officials of the UN Secretariat and UN system agencies, UN delegations and other expert.

 As an NGO enjoying participation status with UNCTAD in the general category, JCI receives notifications of and documents for conferences and meetings convened by UNCTAD. JCI representatives are entitled to participate as observers, without the right to vote, in the public meetings of the intergovernmental bodies. They may also contribute to UNCTAD's multiple and excellent programs, such as Globalization and Development, and International Trade and Commodities
