JCI and the Council of Europe cooperated in a training program for leaders of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Georgia and Montenegro. The Council of Europe is an intergovernmental organization founded in 1949 to protect and promote human rights, pluralist democracy and the rule of law. JCI hopes to continue cooperating with the Council of Europe to enhance the protection of minorities, and increase tolerance and understanding among people.

... is a worldwide network of nearly a quarter of a million members – young leaders in their 20s and 30s – in over one hundred countries and territories. Through various local, national and international projects and events, JCI members meet, learn and grow. JCI also has millions of alumni, many of whom support active members.
