Friendly Business Award 2007 |

June 13th - The 2007 JCI Dublin Friendly Business Awards were launched
last night by The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Vincent Jackson. The Lord Mayor
noted the importance of friendliness in business “A friendly business
is a successful business & it is great to see JCI Dublin
highlighting Dublin’s friendliest businesses”
On the night Fresh - the good food market was crowned the overall
winner of the 2007 JCI Dublin Friendly Business awards. President
of JCI Dublin Peter Butler said “Fresh exemplified everything that we
were looking for in this year’s competition: Customer Friendliness,
great shop layout, Disability access and eco friendliness”

The winner of the eco friendliness category was Lush who sell fresh
hand made soaps. The President of JCI Dublin said “Before Lush do
anything they first ask will this have a positive effect on the
environment and if the answer is no they find an eco friendly way to do
it” | The disability access category was won by Nine West who sell shoes the
JCI Dublin President was very impressed with access to the shop.
| The winner of the customer friendliness category was Design Yard in
Temple bar who sell local art. JCI Dublin president said “The design
yard staff were always smiling and had a great knowledge of all the
products” | The shop layout & design category was won by Donnybrook Fair JCI
Dublin President said “The layout in is excellent. All
the prices are clearly displayed and things are easy to find” |
