JCI Dublin - Junior Chamber International Dublin

There was much pencil chewing and furrowing of brows in Myo’s pub recently as 24 teams gathered to compete in the JCI Castleknock table quiz in aid of Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos (Our Little Brothers and Sisters).  We now know that the most dangerous creature in the world is the mosquito (!) and it was 1978 when Munster beat the All Blacks. It was a close run competition but in the end the Swervin’ Girvins were victorious, closely followed by Go Steamers and the Ongar Babes.  Over €2,000 was raised on the night. Thanks to Suzanne Mills for all her hard work in organising this great night. Suzanne will be spending time at the NPH run Orphanage in the Dominican Republic working on a voluntary basis in the new year.

Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos is a charitable organization serving orphaned and abandoned children in Latin America and the Caribbean. Its mission is to provide shelter, food, clothing, healthcare and education in a Christian family environment based on unconditional acceptance and love, sharing, working and responsibility.
