Scottish National Conference

20th-22nd April 2007, JCI Glaswow celebrated his 70th anniversary and hosted JCI Scotland National Convention.

At this occasion, lot of members from all the world were there to support JCI Glasgow. Between his travels to the Dominican Republic and Mauritius, Scott Greenlee, JCI president 2007, was also in Glasgow for this great weekend.

Two other personalities of JCI flighted to Scotland: JCI Executive Vice President for Area D (Europe and Russia) 2007, Graham Hanlon from Ireland, and JCI Vice President 2007, Hans-Henrik Queseth from Denmark.

JCI Ireland was represented by 13 members from all the country.As twin with JCI Glasgow, JCI Dublin was represented by Kevin Guerin, Raymond Reily, and Elisabeth Donohoe (Photo with Alison McMahon, Chairman JCI Glasgow)

The weekend was full of interesting events and very well organised :

	Debate and Public Speaking Competition
Keynote Speaker Jamie Andrew in Burrell Collection, Pollok Park Jamie Andrew is the incredible mountaineer who lost his hands and feet in a horrific accident in the French Alps. Miraculously, despite his handicap, Jamie has carried on with his mountaineering career and has made some amazing ascents all over the world, raising many thousands of pounds for charity along the way. National Awards Ceremony, Twinning Ceremony & Platinum Gala Ball in Glasgow City Chambers
