Busy Year Ahead for JCI Dublin

2008 is set to be an important and busy year in the history of JCI Dublin.

The growth momentum of the JCI Dublin chapter was acknowledged at the recent JCI Ireland First Annual National General Meeting, held in Malahide.

JCI Ireland 2008 president Catherine Laffey, together with JCI Dublin 2008 president Kevin Guerin have agreed that the all-Ireland 2008 JCI Spring Conference will be hosted by the ambitious Dublin chapter.

This is a major JCI Ireland event, that will take place on 4-6 April 2008. Planning and hosting the conference is a great honour for JCI Dublin, whose members will have a lot to learn by doing this. Hard work and dedication is also involved, with plenty of opportunities for enhancing management, leadership and organizational skills. Involved members will also get a chance to understand first hand what JCI's motto, "Learning by Doing" is all about!

One of the highlights of the Spring Conference will be the National Public Speaking and Debating competition. To warm up for that, members can join the JCI Dublin debating competition, held on February 21st. However, all this is just a sneak preview. Watch this space for updates!
