JCI Dublin Members Past and Present gather for glittering Regional Gala Dinner 2008
2008 was a year well worth celebrating in the Dublin region and JCI Dublin members were all out in force on Saturday 13th of December last to have a glittering end to the year.  Many past members, past presidents and international guests arrived to help JCI Dublin in conjunction with JCI Fingal and JCI Dun Laoghaire celebrate an amazing year.
The key speakers at the Regional Gala Dinner were Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan, TD and JCI World President Graham Hanlon. The glittering affair was held in the Burlington Hotel and all fundraising on the night went to the JCI  Nothing But Nets Anti- Malarial Bed Net charity.  Helping Dublin to celebrate our 8 national awards including Most Outstanding Chapter 2008, Most Outstanding President 2008 and Most Outstanding Member 2008 were some friends from Sweden, Monaco,
Switzerland and of course Alison McMahon representing our twin JCI Glasgow.

Special guests The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Cllr Eibhlin Byrne and President of Dublin Chamber of Commerce, Margerat Sweeney alsoattended with their husbands. The JCI Ireland National President Catherine Laffey and her husbadn Jeremy Doyle were present for the event. Former JCI Dublin President and 2009 National Deputy President Mark Kelly was also awarded a senatorship on the night.

There on the night were Donal and Martha De Butleir, Joesphine and Tom Kelly of Kelly wines, a generous sponsor, Elizabeth and Ross McMahon, Kevin and Yvonne Gallagher among other former members of JCI Dublin.

2008 JCI Dublin President Kevin Guerin and President Elect 2009 Michelle Daly were both there on the night to thank the extensive committee of Dublin members who helped to organise the night. Dublin is looking forward to an even more successful 2009!
