| The search is on to find the JCI Dublin Outstanding Young Person of the Year 2008 |
JCI Dublin also known as Junior Chamber International Dublin has been involved in promoting the efforts of young people in Ireland for over 51 years. This year they are searching the country for the most outstanding Young Person to represent Dublin and Ireland at the JCI World Congress in New Delhi in India in September.
Former winners of the prestigious award have been Hector Ó hEochagáin, of TG4 and Caroline Casey of The Aisling Foundation. On a world scale former winners have included JFK and Elvis among others. We are delighted to have the opportunity to promote the great work done by young people done in Ireland over the last year. We are looking for those individuals who deserve recognition for their work in no matter what category. This is a true celebration of youth in Irish Society,” said Kevin Guerin, President, JCI Dublin. he categories for entry include Business or Entrepreneurial accomplishment, Political Accomplishment, Academic leadership, Contribution to Children, World Peace or Human Rights.
