February Meeting

The last JCI Dublin monthly meeting followed a slightly changed agenda. It started with a training given by Padraic Delaney, Director Business Development, Down Syndrome Ireland. The guest speaker talked about the role of volunteering in Ireland and about the marketing campaigns, which were led by Down Syndrome Ireland in the past. Most important, he talked about children’s achievements and their great life journey - made possible with help and affection from volunteers.
It followed a short update of current and future projects in JCI at the local, national and international level. Vincent, the newly appointed International Officer presented three international upcoming events:
European Capital Meeting: 7th - 10th of May
JCI European Conference, Budapest: 10th - 14th of June
Paris Marathon: 4th - 5th of April

JCI Dun Loaghaire Mock Interview: This will take place in Dun
Laoghaire on the 7th of March and members are invited to interview
local tennagers for work in a real life situation.
